Wow.  I can’t believe this decade is almost over.  It seems like it was only yesterday when I was dancing to Will Smith’s “Will 2K,” now it’s about to be 2011….!

The Bible says says that our life is like a mist, a vapor, that appears only for a little while, and then vanishes.  In other words – LIFE GOES BY QUICK!

I say this every year, but time goes by fast.  Real fast.  My wife, and I are about to have our first son, Noah.  I seriously can’t believe it.  It’s surreal.  I’m constantly reminded that my life is passing by – fast.  The question I keep asking myself is this;

“Am I using the time God has given me on this Earth effectively?

Am I helping others come to understand this great God that has stepped into the story of my life?  Am I spending time on things that don’t really matter?  Am I living a life that will outlive my life?  Am I investing my life in the lives of others?

As 2011 quickly approaches I want to refocus.  I want to spend my (quick) life on things that (really) matter.
