I also remember trying to talk as fast as this guy, and never being able to!

Throwback Sunday – you can’t do that on television

Wow – this month if flying by (and so is the summer.) Today is another great Sunday, and that means it’s time for another great Throwback Sunday. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Throwback Sunday; basically what I do is pick a different “throwback” from my childhood and showcase it on my blog each week. Each ‘throwback” is something near, and near to my heart, and childhood. Hopefully I run across something you like as well!

Throwback Sunday – Pee-Wee’s Playhouse

Wow – the weeks seem to be flying by, and you know what that means – it’s time for another edition of Throwback Sunday. This week I am sharing another show that is near and near to my heart – Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. Sure, the guy is odd. Sure, the show was strange. But boy did I want to live in that awesome house, and have all those cool people dropping by all the time! What about you; did you watch? Did you wish you had a house as awesome as Pee-Wee’s; or friends as cool as “Pennny?” I know I sure did. Enjoy!

Throwback Sunday – Out of this World

This Sunday I have a very special Throwback Sunday for you. This is by far one of the weirdest/coolest shows I watched in the 80′s. The girl’s dad lived in a weird glass “cube,” and she could freeze time by touching her two fingers together. I never missed an episode though. Anyone else with me on this show?

I think it’s time I let all the people out there in “internet land” know the real Rick Smith – the one who watched this tv show EVERY SINGLE WEEK – and LOVED IT!

Throwback Sunday – Power Glove

Ok friends, it’s time for another great installment of Throwback Sunday. I must say this is a real special throwback Sunday for me, because it was after watching this move -

I proclaimed to my mom that if she would just get me The New Power glove for Christmas, “I would never ask for anything ever again!”

I finally got one – a few years after it came out, from the clearance rack at K-Mart. It didn’t take me long to figure out why it was so cheap. BECAUSE IT WAS WACK! I mean really Nintedno – I know it’s been like 20 years, but I still want my money back!
