double popped – @human3rror

Hey everyone! This is a new segment on my blog I”m calling “double popped.” At least once a week I will be doing a short interview like this one with fellow bloggers, twitters, etc. that you may {or may not} know, and putting it up here on my blog. My hope in doing this is that we can see that people really are “cooler then their avatars.”

Would you like to be on a “double popped” segment? Simply leave your twitter, or blog info, in the comment section of the site, and you could be contacted for the next “double popped!”
-enjoy.

When I agreed to do it, I didn't know I was going to have to double pop my own shirt. Dang!

  27. RickwSmith says:

Greg, I know that goes against the tee shirt only – but come on man…America wants to see one thing! – you double popping! SOON!

  28. gregatkinson says:

Okay – just for you. I'll wear a polo shirt and pop the collar. You heard it here.

  29. michaelmcminn says:

Rick dude I totally knew where you were going with that question. I totally put gravy on fried chicken. Southern cream gravy that is. I dip chicken strips in cream gravy. It is just like the southern tradition of smothering Chicken Fried Steak in Cream Gravy. anywho…

    #doublepopped is legit folks!!!
    #doublepopped is off the hook!
    #doublepopped is in the h-iz-ouse!

  31. Robb Hand says:

    Fascinating concept.
He looks more like "Ando" than "Hiro", either way, one sharp guy.
Oh, and don't forget that fries are tons better in gravy than ketchup.

  35. jabberfrog says:

Fun interview. made me laugh. Looking forward to more.

  36. RickwSmith says:

Thanks for the great feedback – glad you enjoyed it! More to come, very soon!

  37. Kenny says:

That was fun. I never had gravy on my chicken until I went to Chicken Express in Forth Worth. Now when I'm getting chicken fingers anywhere else, I'm depressed when they don't have Gravy. Next time you're in DFW, check out Chicken Express and try some gravy on your chicken.

  38. Eric Jones says:

i can't help but think about Larry King Live……take it how you want to … great job RickWSmith dot Com :-)

  39. RickwSmith says:

Ha,ha. thanks man! {i think}….I'm glad you liked it. I'll be doing many more of these, with some more really cool people, so keep checking back!

  40. RickwSmith says:

I really like Chicken Express! I also really like Ft. Worth! We go there a ton, and really like it! Are from the metroplex?

  41. kennyconley says:

I was a Children's Pastor in Keller (North Fort Worth) for four years. I just moved away from DFW about a year ago. I really like Austin a lot, but I really loved Keller. We really mourned leaving. I know I'm biased, but I think that FW was the best part of DFW. Unfortunately the closest Chicken Express is about 25 minutes away… so we don't go nearly as often, but I love me that gravy… and corn nuggets. Oh, and do you get the serendipity flavoring to put on your chicken. It has MSG, so they can't put it out I guess, but if you haven't gotten it, ask for serendipity. It comes in a packet and you just sprinkle it on. YUM!
