Hey everyone! This is a new segment on my blog I”m calling “double popped.” At least once a week I will be doing a short interview like this one with fellow bloggers, twitters, etc. that you may {or may not} know, and putting it up here on my blog. My hope in doing this is that we can see that people really are “cooler then their avatars.”
Would you like to be on a “double popped” segment? Simply leave your twitter, or blog info, in the comment section of the site, and you could be contacted for the next “double popped!”
-enjoy.
I am diggin the Double Pop! What are you using for the double screen capture?
Saddington's hair looks just as cool in person. But seriously, who puts gravy on chicken for lunch? Other than that, great questions!
Yay for wordpress and 5% discounts for blog migrations. Or was that blog migraines….
@human3rror is seriously a veritable fount of blog wisdom. Thanks for this!

Hmm, a program I found online that allows you to record Ichat a/v conf.
Great interview skills bro – loving the new segment! I rarely wear a shirt that can 'be popped', and don't know if I'm worthy to appear – but I'll sport my epic 'stache if you'll have me @big_b_rad
great idea…would love to participate – @tferraro
To be double popped? Dare a man dream? @Ancoti
Cool Idea.
thanks man! we'll see how it goes!
thanks! I just thought it would be cool for people to see in "real" life what the people are like that they talk to/hear all day on twitter/blogs, etc… Get a little peak inside their life…We'll see how it goes!
maybe..just maybe…one day @tomcottar will be double-pop worthy.. a boy can dream, huh?
No maybe about it- you, my friend, will be #doublepopped !
gravy on chicken?
my friend @rhetter says it is "normal" to do in California…..but then again, what isn't "normal" in California!
Wow – I figured the Gravy on everything was a Southern thing (as I'm all about it) but that's also why I'm BIG-brad….
i'm not sure i'd be willing to double pop. i'm not as cool looking as H3
who is?

Dude, you double pop all by yourself! Awesome idea. I needs me some migration (I'm a blogger guy, because it's easy). Good job Rick, RickWSmith, rickwsmith.com or biz or us or gov or tv or uk or you know–you are so out of context! (and that's a good thing)
Brett
Zaxby's FTW! They don't have those in the PNW. Missing it big time. Tongue Torch is the sauce!
Big Ryan in the house! – Hey man – I want to get you on very soon to talk about some of our favorite products! You got that collar popped?
I'm sure I could find a collar to pop.

Bro I've been popping collars since Run DMC was hitting the charts! For realz! (okay maybe not..)
I thought so… after all, you did have that tee-shirt on with those old school tapes!
I don't about CA, I'm in WA. We eat only fresh food…not a lot of gravy anymore. Lots of rabbit food.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: IntenseDebate Notifications
When I agreed to do it, I didn't know I was going to have to double pop my own shirt. Dang!
Greg, I know that goes against the tee shirt only – but come on man…America wants to see one thing! – you double popping! SOON!
Okay – just for you. I'll wear a polo shirt and pop the collar. You heard it here.
BREAKING NEWS! GREG ATKINSON IS WEARING A POLO SHIRT! YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS FOLKS!
Rick dude I totally knew where you were going with that question. I totally put gravy on fried chicken. Southern cream gravy that is. I dip chicken strips in cream gravy. It is just like the southern tradition of smothering Chicken Fried Steak in Cream Gravy. anywho…
#doublepopped is legit folks!!!
#doublepopped is off the hook!
#doublepopped is in the h-iz-ouse!

I dig man…great stuff
Hey thanks! Do you have that collar, all ready to be "popped?"
Fascinating concept.
He looks more like "Ando" than "Hiro", either way, one sharp guy.
Oh, and don't forget that fries are tons better in gravy than ketchup.
Thanks for the kind words..keep checking back – they will be coming often!
dude…I don't know if I even got a shirt to double pop in….sha bammm…nice interview….
Rick,
ichat has recording built in…
I'd love to be double popped…

Hey thanks for the kind words! You rock! And I know I guy like you has LOTS of shirts you could "double pop" in! Get 'em ready!
Fun interview. made me laugh. Looking forward to more.
Thanks for the great feedback – glad you enjoyed it! More to come, very soon!
That was fun. I never had gravy on my chicken until I went to Chicken Express in Forth Worth. Now when I'm getting chicken fingers anywhere else, I'm depressed when they don't have Gravy. Next time you're in DFW, check out Chicken Express and try some gravy on your chicken.
i can't help but think about Larry King Live……take it how you want to … great job RickWSmith dot Com
Ha,ha. thanks man! {i think}….I'm glad you liked it. I'll be doing many more of these, with some more really cool people, so keep checking back!
I really like Chicken Express! I also really like Ft. Worth! We go there a ton, and really like it! Are from the metroplex?
I was a Children's Pastor in Keller (North Fort Worth) for four years. I just moved away from DFW about a year ago. I really like Austin a lot, but I really loved Keller. We really mourned leaving. I know I'm biased, but I think that FW was the best part of DFW. Unfortunately the closest Chicken Express is about 25 minutes away… so we don't go nearly as often, but I love me that gravy… and corn nuggets. Oh, and do you get the serendipity flavoring to put on your chicken. It has MSG, so they can't put it out I guess, but if you haven't gotten it, ask for serendipity. It comes in a packet and you just sprinkle it on. YUM!
